Of course you like it...it distracts you from feeling what's lacking. If you're constantly in the company of a woman, it can be convincing to think of yourself as sociable, friendly, attractive. But the loneliness that remains is the price of distraction. It won't really go away until you work on it. Rule of thumb: If it comes easy, it's not worth having. My advice- Try doing something difficult (self exploration or commitment). It's scarier, but in the end will bring a happiness you probably don't even think you deserve right now.

One day 'alone' is going to urn into 'lonely' and you're going to f***ing hate it.

Stop running from yourself.

I've made commitments in the past, believe me. I've been married for 17 years and now have been divorced for seven. I've since had two live-in girlfriends who I thought to be stable, only to have them both turn into needy and neurotic leeches after about two years, each time. I've had a two year monogamous relationship with a woman with commitment issues of her own. I've tried it all, and have found that committed relationships and me just don't mix. So now I have several that I'm involved with at the same time, I have loads of companionship and sex, and keep them distant enough to not get drawn into another emotionally vampiric relationship. So far this seems to be working well, even though it flies in the face of society's norms.

Okay, here's the deal...no one can make you happy about you but you. Being comfortable being alone is NOT about being alone, it's about liking your own company.

I used to constantly have a partner, basically for fear of not having one. The sex was great (mostly), but, it wasn't about sex. I agree with the previous post.

Don't you like any of the women enough to let one make you happy?

I'm a female and feel the same way. Not afraid to commit, just can't find one worth committing to. I don't seek attention, it's too easy to get and I don't flaunt it.

I am the opposite. I never meet any women I usually live like a monk. I sleep alone 99% of the time. To be honest I think I prefer it this way! Sex is boring and overrated to me most women are annoying and stupid. "I am never in such good company as when I am alone"
