His deployment date is getting here sooner & sooner. I can barely handle myself, let alone our 2 boys by myself for 1 year. Depression is creeping back up on me

Maybe you can find someone else to help and comfort you while he is away.

One year is not that long, you can do it.

One year is a long time when i got 2 ungrateful kids who wont listen to me
Remove this stupid comment

Whose fault is it that your kids are ungrateful brats??
Remove this stupid comment

I am not blaming anyone else. I know it's my fault. There not brats.

You're a military wife. You'll be f***ing the closest MP or his CO within a few weeks anyway. And how the hell did you get married, have 2 kids and somehow NOT realize he'd leave once in a while? Stupid cunt.

Thank you for your service to our country. Be brave and true (to your heart). xoxSigned: Ex-Military Wife (Be glad you still have him. He'll be glad your still there when you get home). as for the boys try a little military training for them. You be the General. ATTENTION!

I let go of some1 that was in the military in fear that he would leave me but to have him back would be worth the wait

^ To the OP. Although you feel this type of outburst is defensive, it is not warranted. We all here know that type of post is from nothing but worthless shit as soon as we read it. We all ignore that posters type of responce as soon as we start to read it. You should too because your not going to say anything back to that type of person that the majority of us already feel. Military Moms and families also make the sacrifice for our country. Stay strong and perservere. Give it 5 or 10 years from now and you'll be proud to have given to your country what many Americans have no concept of. You will have something they can never have and never comprehend.

It's a lot different than two weeks of war games out in the desert.

He may come back before the year is up. You'd better be prepared for that reality too.
Remove this stupid comment

He gets a 2 week break to come back, Then back to Iraq

You'll make it, it's hard day by day and some times you'll want to throw the towel in and and say screw it. But I know what your going through now and will be. Be strong for yourself and your boys. ~Military Wife

If I were you, I'd get married. You never know when you might need the extra benefits.

I hope your BF doesn't become another statistic... for your kids sake, and yours. Veterans Day, let's remember those who served, and those who still protect our country. Although, it looks to me like we have more enemies at home than abroad. Secure our border, then worry about the rest of the world.

I know the benefits are great. I believe being married once, and this person is not the person.

^ So, he was just a sperm donor to you? Twice?
Remove this stupid comment

Nope.
Remove this stupid comment

Yeah get married if you want to keep him.

If you believe that you can make it you will. I am praying for your family - he deserves a woman who can get this job done and you will!! I just know it! Good Luck...

^(OP)....Thank you so much. I wish there were more people in this world like you.

Hang in there. If you truly love him, you will make it. As for your 2 kids, they'll need support thru this also. Try some military discipline as suggested in a previous post. If you need outside help, then get it, be a nanny, psychiatrist etc.I know it can be expensive, but it will be worth it. Good luck to all of you and God Bless. Thank him and you for your service and sacrifice.

Be glad he didn't spring this on you at the last moment, hun. My brother never tells me 'til days before he leaves, and each time it kills me! This past time, he didn't even tell me until he was overseas. :( You may think it's the end of the world, but it's not. Start a paper chain and write a message to him everyday 'til he's back in your arms. It will help!

I wish I was brave enough to leave my email on here. I am a the tale end of his 3rd deployment. It is a lot to deal with. But be strong and just take one day at a time. Realize that he is not going to understand the shoes you are filling just like you don't understand what he is going to go thru. And DONT FUCK AROUND. Focus on your kids and find a babysitter to come once a week for a few hours so you can go and do NOTHING if that's what you want to do. Ugh so much more I could tell you to make it easier for you. And don't listen to the negative people on here. They're a** ****s.
